At Ultramar, here are three causes that are very dear to us:
Every year, we organize La Grande Ruée, a fundraising event in Montreal’s Angrignon Park that attracts thousands of people. The afternoon includes a family-friendly picnic, costumes, activities, and games.
Some of the charities that benefit from The Ultramar Foundation’s donations:
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cornwall and District
Footprints 4 Autism
The Phoenix Centre for Children and Families
Fondation Charles-Bruneau
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Montreal
The Lighthouse Children and Families
Community CARES Youth Outreach
Froude Avenue Community Centre
Gencheff Children’s Camp
Ultramar has been a staunch supporter of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation playing a key role in the launch of My Active Health, a unique program in Central and Eastern Canada that emphasizes physical activity and an active lifestyle as a way of reducing the risk of developing breast cancer, as well as preventing its recurrence.
During past Breast Cancer Awareness months, Ultramar has donated 1¢ per litre of Supreme gasoline and $1 per Supreme car wash sold at its Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada service station locations.
As proud partners of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, Ultramar stays close to the hockey community and supports young hockey talent.
We contribute to resources that guide the next generation of young hockey players not only in their pursuit of a career in professional hockey, but also in supporting their academic endeavours toward becoming responsible, educated citizens.
